THE STORY BEHIND THE CONCEPTION OF LONDONER
The idea of Londoner came to my mind after I came across Javasript Mathematical functions and methods in a book. I am self-taught DHTML (html, javascript and css) writer. I wrote a program to generate randomly 6 numbers out of 49. But there was a drawback. The program some times generated similar numbers *. I solved this problem but this generated another problem. The program started to generate empty spaces instead of returning a number similar to already any generated numbers. I solved this problem and felt a proud writer of a lottery number generator program.

After that I checked on Internet to see if others have done a similar thing. I found out others have already done it and lost interest and wanted to forget about it. But before that I thought if I could add some thing to it to make it different from the rest. Immediately the idea of frequently generated numbers to increase the winning chances came to my mind. Accordingly I rewrote the program so that a lottery player can ask for 50 or 100 set of 6 lottery numbers to make a lottery number from numbers generated more than the rest.

This addition by itself was a problem. For example if some lottery players or syndicates wanted to generate a thousand or a million set of 6 lottery numbers how they could go through all these numbers to check for the more frequently generated numbers. So I had to rewrite Londoner to count every individual numbers from 1 to 49 to tell lottery players how many times each number generated each time. After this, nothing useful left to add to Londoner.

I had to add the original program script, when it was returning similar numbers, to Londoner for a logical reason. A randomly generated number, although similar to a previously randomly generated number, has to be counted as a number generated more often. Because it has a bearing on the rule of increased prbability. Ignoring such number invalidates thd rule of increased probabilities, chances.

That is way now Londoner can retun pure lottery numbers if you click on 'CLICK 4 LOTS OF LOTTERY NUMBERS'. This is good for those who want to play lots of lottery numbers but don't have time to make every number. In this case Londoner ignores similarly generated numbers.

If you click on 'CLICK 4 BETTER CHANCE' Londoer returns and counts every generated numbers, including the ones similar to previously generated numbers. Look at the Right Frame at the generated lottery numbers. You will see two or more similar numbers in the same lottery number in some of them. These numbers are real representatives of more often generated numbers. To make your lottery number,look at the table and choose those numbers returned more than the rest to make your lotto number. I wanted to name the program with some thing culturally related to UK. Many names like Red Coat, Lion Heart, Waterloo and Brave Heart came to my mind. Then I choose 'Londoner' as the name.
